One reason why we are living longer is that more people can be treated in various ways despite their advancing years. This means that there is a growing need for geriatric care.
SLSO geriatrics is currently developing and expanding our geriatric care in Stockholm County.
Our geriatric clinics investigate, treat and rehabilitate elderly and carry out memory tests and medical treatment in clinics and at homes.
We also have dedicated resources for dealing with geriatric patients with specific needs.
